UX/UI Designer | Industrial Designer
Hello, I'm Emily Sonnier, an enthusiastic industrial design graduate with a passion for UX/UI. During my time as a Jewelry Design Intern at Fossil Group, I gained valuable experience in the end-to-end design process, collaborating with product development and merchandising teams. This opportunity reinforced my belief in the significance of teamwork and collaboration, which resonated with my team-driven mindset from my college athletic experiences.
With my unique background I can offer a multi disciplinary approach to design going in between the digital and physical products.
Now, I'm seeking a UX/UI job or internship to further explore my interest in this field. Through university courses and various certification programs, I have developed a deep fascination with the intersection of psychology, empathy, and interface design. The human aspect of UX captivates me, and I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills to create meaningful user experiences.
In the long term, I have set my sights on Europe, particularly The Netherlands. I am considering pursuing a UX Design master's program at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences to expand my expertise and immerse myself in the vibrant design community there.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I have a diverse range of hobbies. I love traveling, cooking, practicing yoga, and engaging in pilates. My adventurous spirit constantly drives me to try new experiences and embrace the unknown.
